Notre Dame Cathedral

Notre Dame Cathedral in old Montreal is constructed without any nails. Wooden dowels were used instead.

The Chateau Frontenac is located within the old walled city of Quebec.

King's Landing

King's Landing, shown here, is a historical recreation of a typical 19th century village in New Brunswick. Many inhabitants were United Empire Loyalists, who came to Canada after the United States of America established its independence from British rule in 1776. Every summer, employees dressed in period costumes live life here as it was lived in the 19th century.

A Canadian Coast Guard vessel is shown here tied up in the harbour of Saint John, New Brunswick.

Covered Bridge

The sun breaks through the cracks of this covered bridge in New Brunswick. There are many such bridges still remaining in New Brunswick, although many have fallen victim to old age, natural disasters and vandalism.
