as of march 09 Sekhmet has moved to Fairisle cattery
She is a Lilac Tipped Golden Burmilla female -a colour that some Fancies refer to as Caramel.
We have presented a number of photos as this colour is often difficult to understand and see. The very fact that the predominant colour to the viewers eye is the golden is what leads us to the tipping designation.
The photos are untouched other that to reduce them in dimension and DPI for presentation and ease of loading. If any reader should wish a more complete and larger photo we can present that on request.
She is only the second cat of this colour we have noted and been able to photograph. Horizons Bella Donna is of similar in colour to the eye but is a tortie and this is very confusing to the judges. It is her mother Lavina who is identical to Sekhmet.
Sekhmet is the daughter of Horizons Romulus (see Lavina link), (brother to Adonis), and a Lilac European Burmese female.

The keeper in the litter is Hector the "so called" sable shaded male and that would be him top left in the first photo and bottom left in the second.
This is interesting the kittens are clearly tabbies - agouti and silver as well. Therefore Phoenix is agouti ( a tabby)
It is impossible to tell by looking at Phoenix , his mother Medusa, or both her parents Aurora or (Far) Horizon
We know Far was Agouti therefor Medusa had to be Agouti not smoke as identified.

As of jan 17'09 we have determned that as Hector (Phoenix's kitten) is a black cat based on an examination of paw pad colour. (See below)
Thus our comment " cbcb as no kittens are C" is incorrect.
