This site, the student designed CS4 site, was formerly at cs4.spacesim.org, which has since been retired. It was moved to www.millenniumwave.com Feb. 27 2001. The CS4 project, originally intended to run for the duration of the International Space Station construction project, ran from September 1997 to June 1999, when Project Director Mr. Scott left for a board consultancy job. Plans for a two storey CS4 II simulator were shelved. Heartfelt thanks go to the many Grade 7-12/OAC students who made this WOW! project possible during its run. It was truly a pioneering effort in space program simulations, and was a prime example of project based education. Being featured worldwide on the Discovery channel (LifeSpace series) was a highlight of the mission. Many of the CS4 grads are now off to university and college making their mark on the world. I am sure some of you will be "up there" some day. Enjoy this site. There is still more archived materials to post...never enough time! If you wish to develop your own space simulation project, and want more information, please contact Michael Scott for info. The ISS is here to stay, and what better way to prepare tomorrow's engineers, technologists, technicians and scientists than to simulate one of the biggest engineering projects ever.

The Payette MissionOur 2nd mission of the CS4 space station simulator began at 12:00 EST, June 04 1999, with some delays due to equipment malfunction and emergency evac test. Everything at launch was a go, and we were off and running for a 20 hour mission. See our:Payette Mission Page Payette Mission Photo Page Payette Mission Weather Team
A Welcome...Welcome to the student designed website for CS4: The Canadian Student Space Station Simulator. We are the Design and Technology students of St. Peter High School in Orleans, Ontario, Canada who have built a mock-up of the International Space Station as part of our training in engineering technology. The pages within this site represent the work of the various teams who are dedicated to making this project world renowned. This site includes information and images about our various projects. For more information on the CS4 Space Station Simulator Project and it's rationale, please see our teacher's site at The CS4 Initiative. The CS4 project had been divided into four parts:
This site was originally designed for www.cs4.spacesim.org. See our teacher's site for other aspects of technology and technology education and more about the CS4 Project at Scotty's Surfin' Shack, the Unofficial Center for Technology Education.
Back To TopThis student CS4 site was created on Dec. 5, 1997, and redesigned on Jan. 25, 1999 for http://www.cs4.spacesim.org For more information on this project, or how you can be part of this exciting adventure, email Mr. Scott, CS4 Project Director at: mascott@igs.net
