silverchair North-American tour
silverchair has wrapped up their three-week tour of North America with Blink 182. A great sucess. It was one last chance for North American's to see the chair live for at least 2 years, that is if they record another album (a must). Most shows were sold out in a matter of hours. You can bet i didn't give up the chance to drive four hours to toronto to see the chair one more time before the go into a musician's form of hibernation. Read my review! Emotion Pictures, a new longform video from silverchair is available everywhere. The film follows the band through the creation of Neon Ballroom and the world tour which followed. Emotion Pictures includes the videos for Emotion Sickness, Anthem For The Year 2000, Ana's Song (Open Fire), and Miss You Love, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of silverchair in the studio and on tour. It also features live performances filmed in Europe and America during 1999. Initially, the video was distributed in Australia in the PAL video format, and is available through the LAS for something like 25 dollars. BUY IT! IT'S HILARIOUS!!!
It has been rumored that there is a video made for free by students at the school of film in australia for emotion sickness. This 6 mintues art film appears so far on canadian releases of the album.
THE NEXT SILVERCHAIR/NEON BALLROM SINGLE is MISS YOU LOVE! The single was officially released August 1,and is now being played on radio and t.v all over the world! The video is great, i really like how it is more of a story than them just playing the song. Watch for ben singing the lyrics and chris laughing at him.
*Ana's Song video, is in high rotation on Much Music and hopefully on MTV! If you haven't seen it, it's a beautiful video. The 'chair stretched their unbroken string of top 40
